Dr. Rabkin’s October ‘00 support group meeting was held in the Board Room of the California Pacific Medical Center on the 12th of the month. Andrea wrote to the DS mailing list about the meeting:

“Anywhere from 10 days post-op to 9 years post-op, folks just gathering information to those scheduled for surgery next week! Jill, our speaker, went over her experiences, from the physical through the emotional and even the plastic surgeries, showing us her scars as well as [telling us about] her perky new breasts! Many people shared experiences, physical and emotional, insights and fears.  We really had a great meeting and had to stop after 9:00pm because we had to all get out of there, but could have gone on for hours!”
